2019: Yorkshire Water adopts new policy on grouse shooting
Yorkshire Water becomes the first utility company to implement an official policy on grouse shooting on its catchment moors. Ahead of its grouse shooting leases coming to an end, the company will review each one to decide on the best options going forward for its sustainable land management objectives. Since taking this fresh approach, two of the company’s moors where shooting leases weren’t renewed are being restored for nature, climate and people.
